February sees the return of two institutions in The Fulwood Arms, firstly our renowned OPEN MIC NIGHT on a Thursday with special drinks offers all night and THE LOOSE MOOSE STRING BAND, fresh from their American “tour” will be playing on Saturday the 27th which will be a hootenanny and a half and certainly not to be missed if, like me, you like your grass blue and your whistling dixie.

We have an exciting line up for you this February as the season really starts to heat up, we have already had an explosive derby and have all the key matches for you on our two big screens including the Carling Cup final. Here’s what’s on in February:

Wednesday 10th:

Arsenal Vs. Liverpool @ 7:45 pm

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th:

Live FA cup football including Southampton Vs. Portsmouth

Sunday 28th:

We are very pleased to say that we are now having a regular jazz night, once a month with the tremendous Sueyo, and this fine tradition continues on the 3oth of January from 9 pm. So come and join us as we take in some of the most beautiful music ever written in its classiest form. However if you fancy something a little different then do not despair as our legendary open mic night will soon be returning after its little hiatus. Presented by the rather dashing Ronan we give you the opportunity to have fifteen minutes of fame, in a way, wether you are a musician, poet, actor, comedian. You name it and we will give you a microphone. So stay posted to find out when exactly the best Thursday night in town will be back.

Well the snow may have won the battle but we have won the war and its starting to melt and normal service can now resume. So resume your watching of the football at The Fulwood as we bring you all of the top games on our two high quality screens and remember that if your team are playing and were not scheduled to show it then simply ask and we shall provide. Its going to be party time at The Fulwood Arms on the 31st, and you now have the chance to purchase your tickets, available at ten pounds (not much for a night you wont forget in a hurry.) We will have the best djs, lovely food available through the night, a late bar and all the booze you could ever want. Aswell as the usual friendly staff, we guarantee you will have a fantastic night that is not to be missed. In conclusion, the tickets are available now, you may purchase them over the phone or in person, and there is no time like the present to get them.

Not only is it Christmas and all that but The Fulwood Arms also has plenty of entertainment lined up throughout December. Not only are we bringing you all the football you crave but we are also having to of the best partys of the year, our Boxing Night spectacular and the now world famous Fulwoods New Year Eves party, tickets are on sale already and are a modest ten pounds, so get them before they’re gone. We will be having Djs, food and loads of booze and all the merriment you desire to see in the new year. We also have our first jazz night on the 12th, with live music provided by sueyo, a prominent figure in Liverpool jazz. So do join us one and all as we celebrate the most wonderful time of year.

It’s that time again, and we are now accepting bookings for Christmas partys. You can choose from 2 courses for £9.95 or 3 courses for £11.95. With our jovial atmosphere and friendly staff we will strive to make you feel like Christmas has come early, so drop in soon to pick up your menus, we are taking bookings from the end of November until the 22nd of December.

November is upon us here at The Fulwood Arms and we have our usual bevy of delights instore for you all. Obviously we have had bonfire night, where a number of people enjoyed hot scouse and beautiful music while they escaped the arctic weather conditions outside. That beutiful music is continuing with our open mic night happening every other thursday, and every other friday we have something a little more up tempo with live full bands. We also have a feast of sport for you including derby day on the 29th and all the international football you want. There will be something for everyone in November so make sure your there to see it.
